“ Great breakfast! I had the biscuits and sausage gravy with eggs and my husband had the Irish Benny. The biscuits and sausage gravy were some of the best I've had at any restaurant. My husband said the Irish Benny was delicious as well. I was pleasantly surprised to see that iced coffee had free refills, the iced coffee was very good as well. Our server was friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. Definitely recommend for a great breakfast, we will be back the next time we visit. ”

“ Do you want the best breakfast in the sea coast area? Then look no further then 2 home cooks!!! These folks have it figured out!!! Check in software, the best food fresh ingredients, new specials all the time. All served with a smile ... from Brandon the owner ... down to Ryan bussing tables... The ENTIRE staff is amazing!!! “ We were on a drive and looking for something good for breakfast on a morning in Dover. We read the reviews and it looked good. We called to see if we needed to call ahead or make reservations during Covid and they said we could come right in. Boy are we glad we did. At first glance, I don't know if you would know it's there. It's tucked in a strip mall across the street from the police station. It's not fancy, but they were warm and inviting. They are under new ownership and it looks like it's a family affair. The kitchen is open, which I really like. You can see the care they are taking with each other and your food. I ordered a soda and was brought a can, which feels a little weird in a sit down restaurant. It almost feels like a takeout place that has a few tables. I'm not sure which direction they are moving in, but I think with a few considerations, they could be successful as an actual dine-in restaurant. Everything we ate was tasty. I had an Irish Benedict and hubby had an omelet. Both were good. The corned beef had the crispy edges that I love and was delicious. I asked for a little extra hollandaise on mine, but was surprised they charged me for a full priced side of hollandaise. Other than that, we were really happy. They were constantly cleaning and sanitizing, and I felt that they were taking extra care to make sure everyone stayed safe. I even saw them regularly sanitizing the phone. ”
